Jeff Fisher Chooses the Rams

Today, Jeff Fisher chose to sign with the St. Louis Rams to become their Head Coach according to sources. One source has said that Fisher wanted to have a split of personnel control with Ireland and Ross did not want to grant it to him. Ross made it clear that Ireland was to remain the GM and have clear control over personnel decisions. In St. Louis, Fisher would have the ability to pick his own GM and have some control over personnel decisions. Even though Fisher would have had a greater salary in Miami, Fisher chose to have more power within an organization. The Dolphins will continue their coaching search by interviewing an unnamed candidate this Saturday.
